I initially added a small amount of the Shea Moisture Raw Shea & Capuacu Daily Defense Wash with the Shea Moisture Raw Shea & Capuacu Daily Defense Scrub to manually cleanse my face while doing my weekly exfoliation with the scrub. When the cleanser is combined with the scrub, it foams, cleanses and moisturizes quite well. However, when using the cleanser alone there is very low to no foaming action if you cleanse using your hands or a face towel. In either case though, the cleanser is moisturizing and rinsed off very well (probably due to the low foam)...so as a low foaming cleanser this works well. However if you enjoy a rich, moisturizing foam from a cleanser, you will definitely receive moisturizing...just not rich foam. I recommend using this cleanser with a facial brush or some manual Buff Puff-like facial pads to generate foam if that is what you're looking for. I used my Vanity Planet facial brush and that helped generate a little more foam for me and I was really satisfied with the results!
