I unfortunately forgot my sunscreen. I have very sensitive skin and I burn fairly easy so forgetting my sunscreen is a HUGE deal. My friend told me she had plenty and not to go buy any. This product is what she handed me while sitting on the beach. I reluctantly accepted the sunscreen and applied it to my skin. After a few days of continuous use I came to the conclusion that it is by far the best I have ever used (and trust me I have nearly tried them all). We spent hours on the beach and I did not burn at all. The sun screen moisturized as well as protected. I will only buy this product for now on. My only concern is that the product price is quite expensive. I wish they made value size or family size bottles. Our children are fair, as is my husband. We applied this product 15-20 minutes before entering the water and then reapplied every hour after that. My family is extremely burned. We have actually never had this happen before with any product. I do not believe that this was a failure on our part, we followed the directions and reapplied more often than it even calls for, waiting 15 minutes after applying each time to get back in the water. The family that swam with us brought their own sunblock, same product. They are also very burned and not nearly as fair as my family. Just disappointed. She was the only one using the Neutrogena wet skin 70+, she was in and out of the pool and ocean every day - all day for 9 days. She barely even got a tan, we made sure to reapply every two hours or so. We would spray her and let her immediately jump in the water. She loved that she didn't have to wait to get in the water and so did we. We will continue to use this product as long as it produces the same results. I thought I would like this product, I loved the idea of applying it to wet skin. They are still not won over. But the scent overwhelmed me. It goes on evenly but creates quite a bit of spray that really irritated my throat and it didn't seem to work any better than the Neutrogena sheer lotion products. It is good for the quick respray once kids are out of pool, but scent alone would keep me from buying it again.
