Since the Raiders of the lost ark is my favorite Indiana Jones movie and I collect Marion Ravenwood minifigs since she is my favortie character from Indiana Jones. It could have been a little bigger and it could have included Sallah too the ark looks just like the one in the movie! I have had lots of fun with this set and the joke that’s included with it just look at the photo they have online and look above the ark and below the snake trap by using the zoom isn’t that funny or what R2-D2 and C-3PO on a picture on above the ark! Its because Indiana Jones and Star wars was made by the same company so its good for Star wars fans like me too! Cons the statues don’t always fall. Ps I really wish Lego would make a Marion Ravenwood keychain and a Lego set of her cafe. For fans of the Indiana Jones legacy, I could see this being a real treat I suppose, but having never seen the movies myself, this set didn't have a lot to offer me. I think my biggest complaint with this set is that some of the pieces did not fit snugly together. I understand that Lego has had some issues recently while readjusting their manufacturing process, but I had expected that to be worked out by now. Perhaps I expect too much. I also feel that once built, it is not incredibly sturdy. I understand that some of the elements are meant to be "shaky" and sort of destructible, but the framework is not very solid. On the upside, this set is a fantastic value, weighing in at over 200 pieces -- including several specialty "gold" pieces -- for only $20! Being a playset, it does also have some nice action features too, including the falling Anubii and raining snakes.
