I had also purchased the "Athena" quilt set but have yet to take it out of the wrapping. I'm concerned how the "Chloe" set will do after being washed. Because the stitching looks to be so bad that if it doesn't survive one laundering it will be returned to our local store, along with the "Athena" set. The size quilt to order is full/queen. When I put it on the bed, it seemed way too small. I returned it and got the king size. You can use it even without a bed skirt. I am using it for the summer as it is a thinner material. I purchased a white eyelet dust ruffle to go with it and it IS a true white and makes the "white" part of the quilt have an off-white look to it. I also thought ( or was hoping ) it would be a bit thicker seeing as to the fact it's supposed to be a quilt. Summer is coming so it will be okay for then but, when winter comes again, I'll need to have another blanket or two under it for warmth. I would have given it five stars if not for the "white thing". I was wanting it to be "truly" white....not off white....but it's still a pretty set. It hangs about 6 inches over the foot of my bed and is a good foot short at the top. The sides are not much better with about 8 inches overhang.
