The Fowler Brass Premium Dial Indicator has an American Gage Design (AGD) Group 2, 2-1/4'' dial face with 0-100 continuous dial readings, a 1'' measuring range, 0.001'' graduations, a revolution counter, tolerance markers, and a choice of black or white face, and is designed for taking measurements in machining, layout, and inspection work. The dial has 0-100 continuous readings. The white-face dial has microfine black graduations and a contrasting black hand to ease reading. The black-face dial has white microfine graduations and a contrasting orange hand to ease reading. A knurled bezel rotates 360 degrees to zero the reading at any location. Tolerance markers allow operators to quickly observe limits. The carbide contact point provides durability for surfaces with a hardness rating below that of carbide. The solid brass housing provides long life and resists corrosion. The indicator includes a Certificate of Calibration.
Dial readings with three digits, 0-10-0 for example, signify that the indicator has a balanced dial. Dial readings with two digits, 0-100 for example, indicate the dial has a continuous dial.
