I paid close to a dollar more at another store because I had no idea Walmart carries this outstanding soap. Here's why I love it: It's non-drying, no fragrances to irritate, great for even adult acne, it leaves your skin super soft, & it's amazing for people like me who have hives from allergies. The last thing I want to use then is a soap with fragrances or drying ingredients. I bought 6 bars. I read other postive reviews on this product on another site and decided to try it. Well I am totally amazed with skin basis. It makes my face feel like a newborns. So soft and natural. I dont even need make up after using skin basis. I experience adult acne on my t zone often and this soap has cleared it up completely. It doesnt dry out your skin like some of those harsh items esp the ones with alcohol or sacylic acid.I bought some extra bars for my sister and her daughter to try and they luv it too. Walmart has the best price on it but it sells out real fast and you have to grab as many bars as you can or they are gone. I'll be buying as many as I can each visit to Walmart. This was not one of them. I'd been covered in hives on my chest, arms, back, legs, etc. and have tried numerous soaps. This soap immediately made everything worse after showering once with it. I immediately noticed a new rash on my arms that wasn't previously there prior to taking the shower (15 min shower - nothing major!) In addition, presumably the petrolatum (petroleum jelly aka vaseline) in it also made me break out with acne on my upper back, which normally isn't an issue with almost any other soaps. Probably switching back to Dove original white (one of the two Dove bars that does not contain Dipropylene Glycol, which can cause allergic reactions) or liquid castile soaps for the time being, unless something better comes along. I had high hopes for this product and am glad it has helped others, but I wasn't one of them. However, I love this soap so much that I tell everyone about it. It is so good, that I use it exclusively to shave with.
