Suitable to remove shock linkages, tie rods and ball joints on Audi, BMW, Citroen, Ford, Mercedes, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Rover, SAAB, Volvo, VW & Japanese Cars.
For easy ball joint removal, simply select the correct press-screw removal tool, center the screw or jack press on the ball joint stud. Then, while keeping the tool fully seated, alternate between tightening the screw and tapping the fork with a hammer. The joint will pop and fall free with minimal effort.
For rusty or stubborn joints, soak with water-displacing lubricant and allow to sit. Then insert your pickle fork tool between the boot and arm. With a solid hammer, strike the knurled handle in line with the angle of the tool until the joint pops free.
