As the story goes, the World Beer Cup sent back our IPA with a note that it was not strong enough for the competition. So the following year, we sent the “F#&% YOU” version. Same recipe, but double the hops and double the malt. It won the Gold Medal in the 2004 World Beer Cup® for the English Style IPA Category – ‘nuff said.
