How it Works

LiquiCell® is an external version of our body’s internal design for tissue protectionthe
bursa sac. A bursa is a small fluid-filled sac located at over 300 points inside
our body to allow joints and tissues to move together without pain.

Nature’s design works on the outside of our body too. Blisters form to protect
the skin from further damage when many products we wear and use, namely
footwear and gloves, compress at points on our skin; stretching it, pulling it
tight, and eventually tearing it.

The liquid in a LiquiCell® bandage circulates and moves in all directions so your
skin doesn’t. LiquiCell® is a blister created so you don’t have to go through the

Blisters

Definition: A blister is a small pocket of fluid within the upper layers of the skin.

Causes: Blisters are formed when the skin is damaged, caused by rubbing and friction from shoes or clothing.

Symptoms: The first sign of blisters will be redness over the skin, for example, in areas such as the back of the heel, the instep and toes.

Prevention: Use LiquiCell® Blister Bands on potential 'hot spots' and specific areas that are prone to blisters. The Blister Bands can be used as a preventative or to provide cushion and protection for early stage blisters. (Not to be used on mature blisters or open wounds)
