He just turned two and loves counting! The very first thing he did was line up the blocks by ascending numbers and I noticed how well he was able to hold the blocks, not too big or small, and put them where he wanted them. He was delighted to discover all the fun interactive sides of the block very shortly after. Bright numbers, Shapes, mirrors, switches and tactile patterns. I was very impressed with how the variety of sides on the blocks and how well made they were. There are no cheap stickers, everything is imprinted or bulit into the blocks. However, I have a complaint that one side of every block has 1 of 2 imprinted smiley face designs. They seemed like an afterthought and a waste of a side considering how fun and thought out the other sides were. With that said, my son has played with these blocks all day long, and for weeks now. They seem to be one of his favorites and I enjoy that it holds his attention for long periods of time. I highly recommend them! My son enjoyed them but I can see how they are a little limited with out the additional main toy that works with them.
