The essential oil is extracted from the treeis leaves through a steam distillation process. For ages, Eucalyptus was utilized for its medicinal and antiseptic qualities. It became known as catheter oil when British hospitals, in the nineteenth century, used it to sterilize urinary catheters. It is also wonderfully effective for circulatory issues like arthritis and rheumatism and can even help heal chicken pox or shingles.
