Originally produced by Columbia Bicycles in 1940, the Columbia compax folding bike was the first of it's kind. The collapsible design was ideal for anyone tight on space, since it could be easily transported and stored practically anywhere. It was even tested by the us military during wwii to be used by paratroopers, due to it's portability. This modern day version has all the features and nostalgic charm of the original 1940's models but with today's features from the modern day mountain bike, with a suspension front fork, 21-speed grip Shifters, linear-pull brakes, embossed saddle, 2 inch riser steel handlebars with soft tpr grips, and alloy 36-hole rims mated with aggressive off-road tires.
