Selection Guide to Pedag Flat Leather Insoles: Pedag modified a few of their flat leather insoles, and 2012 was a transition year. This has lead to some confusion, for which we apologize. Pedag has added an entirely new item for men, Article 281047, size 41-48 in a wider shape in the arch area. Because of the extended arch area, 281047 is the ideal shape for men’s comfort shoes, hiking boots, etc. Gentlemen, if you want leather shoe insoles in the perfect shape for business or dress shoes, please look at Pedag 2810. The tem on this page, Article 281047, is available in men’s sizes 41-48 only, and has the extended arch shape. In a nutshell, Pedag now makes 5 slightly different flat leather insoles: 1. Article 172 is TAN leather, with active charcoal odor control, regular shape, DOUBLE SIZED from W5/6-M12/13, and trimmable. (EU-35/36-45/46), 2. Article 110 is TAN leather, with active charcoal, whole men’s sizes 43, 45, 47, 48, regular shape. 3. Article 102 is called ROYAL and is TAN leather, with active charcoal odor control. In addition, Royal has a very thin latex foam layer which gives light padding. Royal is available in sizes men’s and women’s whole sizes 35-48. 4. Article 2810 is BLACK leather, with active charcoal, whole sizes 36-48, regular shape in both women’s and men’s sizes. 5. Article 281047 is BLACK leather, with active charcoal, whole sizes 41-48, is wider in the arch area-new extended shape.
