The wall mount holds the Echo Dot 2nd Generation with a compression fit, comes with a wrist strap and all screws needed. The Echo mount has 2 holes for drywall screws.
This mount will hold your Echo Dot to the wall if you don't have a shelf near by or you want it high up in the room. Or hanging it on a hook by the wrist strap
You also could hang your Echo Dot under wall mount kitchen cabinets, and directs the sound forward and around the dot.
Full accesses to all ports and functions, you could run the power cord and an external speaker cord into the opening provided. The case also has rubber pads and vents on the bottom, it will not affect the sound volume and quality.
Note: When you slide the Echo Dot into the case, make sure that you line up the USB and headphone jack, with the slot on the side of the case.
