I LOST MY SIGHT BUT NOT MY VISION
“I trained in massage therapy after losing my sight and my job as a technician seven years ago. Getting hired was difficult, but Bizlink Centre stood by me and helped me find a job as a therapist. Today, many loyal customers specially request for me. I hope that by sharing my story, others will realise that people with disabilities have abilities, and give them a chance.”

I CAN’T SPEAK WELL BUT I CAN EXPRESS MYSELF
“I am a person with intellectual disability. I used to think I could not do much. SIA-MINDS EDC showed me that I could paint the things I like. Now, I feel happy when people like my paintings and buy them.”

Yip Pin Xiu, 22 years old Paralympic Gold Medal Swimmer Former Beneficiary of AWWA TEACH ME Services |
I CAN’T WALK BUT I CAN SPRINT
“I prefer to see it as a blessing in disguise. If I didn’t have muscular dystrophy, I might not have found the drive to achieve so much in life.
Today, I have won more than ninety medals in competitions, and I aim to reach a hundred. Never let disability restrain who you are – embrace it.”
