This breastshield with connector is compatible to all Medela pumps except Freestyle, Swing-Maxi and Harmony.

For use with Spectra pumps, this breastshield requires a small adapter to adapt Spectra backflow protecter. This is sold seperately. Please refer to this link for the adapter only or to this link where the adapter and breastshield is sold together.

The inner diameter of the breastshield (B) should be 2-3 mm larger than the diameter of your nipple (N). You should be able to see free movement of your nipple during pumping and there should be little or no suction of the areola into the tunnel of the breastshield.

Print it out, cut through the red line, fold along the green dots then you have made yourself a nipple diameter measuring tool!
