Great quality reproduction of the 1st Flotilla U-Boat Badge. The 1st Flotilla was created in 1935, under the command of Karl Donitz. Originally based in Kiel, but in Brest from 1941, the Flotilla comprised of a total of 140 U-boats. The Flotilla was also known as the "Weddigen Flotilla", named after the Submarine Kapitanleutnant of the same name. The enamelled metal badge features a U-Boat at the centre of the badge, passing through the gap of a 'u'. They also have a pin on the reverse for fixing and measure 3.3cm x 3cm.
