Now, Crane fly among the dark night - behind magnificent Mt.Fuji. Mt.Fuji wear white knit cap. There are not such scene that impress winter. Winter, this season freeze all of the world into coldness. This wonderful "Maki-e" is traditional technique for expressing beauty. She is missionary over 1,500 years. Probably, this "Hira Maki-e" is simple, but foundation technique. But to make supreme one is very difficult. First, paint Urushi on the pen some times. Second, they draw picture by "Iro (color) Urushi" or "Ki (transparent) Urushi". After this, gold powder are been sowing on the picture. After this procedure, paint Urushi on the picture again (only on the picture) and polished. So, the surface become plain. So, it is called "Hira (plain) Maki-e". In these process, little difference become big difference. This is interesting point and difficult point. Of course, "Hira Maki-e" fountain pen is selected severely. And Urushi have advantage as writing tool. Good touch. Melting into hand ! glossy brightness ! Certainly, this is aufheben of art and practical use.
