The time is accurate, however it does not have a red second hand nor the numbers 12 and 6, in which I think would have taken away from the facial appearance of the clock. It serves as a great nite light, and a charming focal point. It does look great up on the wall with the lights on or off. The hands are very easy to see. There is a switch on the electric cord to control the light. It's really nice as a night light for the kitchen, and looks beautiful in the dark. All in all, I'd recommend this clock for a lot of reasons. My Coca-Cola fan room-mate keeps raving about it.
