How to use Mila?

Lifemax Mila has no flavor, so using Mila is easy. You can add it to juice, yogurt, salads, soups or your favorite beverage. We like to take Mila prior to meals for two reasons, it absorbs 12 times its weight when mixed with fluids, which makes you feel full, and it also forms a gel in the stomach and digestive tract that slows the metabolizing of carbohydrates into simple sugars. How Mila I should use?

The daily serving is one 13-gram scoop daily but you should always start with a half-scoop for a few days to ensure that your digestive system is accustomed to the extra fiber in your diet. Chia seeds are unique in that there is no recommended dosage or evidence of risks from possibly eating too much. Since Mila chia seeds are an USDA approved food product, you can eat them as often as any other food with a high fiber content. The amount used varies among individuals, how they feel, and their needs. Some people see additional benefits from more than one serving per day such as Dr. Bob Arnot who eats two scoops on his breakfast cereal every morning and two more in an al.mond milk shake in the afternoon to control his weight.

How to eat Mila?

You can mix Mila with any of your favorite beverages by adding a scoop to 8 ounces of beverage in a shaker cup or glass. My personal preference is to put one scoop in 8 ounces of flavored water that has no sugar or carbohydrates and stir with a fork. Since Mila will absorb 12 times its weight in fluid, I like to let it sit for 45-60 seconds, stir again and drink. Some people will experience stomach cramping because they didn't let the Mila absorb enough liquid or drink enough water with it. This happens when the Mila is too dry and starts absorbing fluid from your digestive tract and binds you up. If you don't like the consistency of the Mila when it sits too long, then you need to drink it quickly followed by plenty of fluids with it or add it to your cereal or smoothie to let it expand first. Because Mila is tasteless, many like to add it to their yogurt or cereal as well.
