Kitchen knife is sharp, but it has no meaning unless it is sharpened.
Of course, there are many people who use sharpener, but if you want to regain the sharpness instantaneously, sharpener is fine.
But, the sharpness that we regained with the sharpener will be gone quickly.
And if you continue to use the sharpener, you will not be able to regain the original sharpness.
So, to keep the kitchen knife sharp and long-lasting, you need to have at least one wheel for your family.
# 400 and # 1200 granularity
# 400 grain size is used as a rough grinding stone for correction etc. when a blade is put on.
# 1200 grain size is used as a medium grinding stone when the sharpness becomes worse.
It is a type that you can use well if you are an ordinary family.
How to sharpen the grindstone
1. Immerse fully in water
Please put on water until bubbles rarely appear.
(About 10 to 15 minutes)
2. Install in a flat, stable place
Since we have a rubber mount ride, we just need to put it on a flat place.
3. Fix the sharpening angle
Place the blade at the angle of 45 degrees, paste the blade on the grinding stone and drill a gap for one piece of disposable chopsticks (about 10 to 20 degrees).
4. Move the knife back and forth
Sharpen while paying attention so that the blade does not swing up and down.
5. Sharpening point
Depending on the length of the kitchen knife, it is better to sharpen it into three places, the cutting edge, the center, and the blade edge (reciprocating twenty rounds).
6. Sharpen the same way
Because it is double-edged, sharpen both sides in the same way.
Caution: As a novice person always knocks the angle when going back and forth, you can use a holder to fix the sharpening angle.
