Another reviewer said it looks better in person, and it really does, the stock photo does not do this sock monkey justice. Really the only odd things is his hat hair is just yarn, and note that his back side has a sock heel, meaning it looks like his mouth on the rear. I think any little girl or boy would love this, it looks old fashion, but high quality made. Generous size, and he is packaged safe in plastic.
