Note:
1. Please attention!!! Currently the Guidelight Decor model does not work on GFCI outlets, because the screws post on GFCI outlets are not located in the center of the outlet, they are located at top or bottom of actual plug part. The wings on these plates are exactly in the center of the decor area which means they will not make contact with the power screws needed to power the unit. If you have a Decor outlet that is a standard outlet or with a GFCI circuit but has no breaker test/reset buttons it may work , please look inside your outlet first before purchasing and see where the screw terminals are located, if they are in the middle of the plug on left & right, it will be fine.
2. Please make sure the chips on the cover are connected well with your outlet.
3. They have a light (photo) sensor that turns the light on in low light conditions and off during the daytime, but they may stay on in a darker area/ hallway during the day.
