The 3 stage knife sharpener has 3 separate in-built plates - Tungsten, Diamond and Ceramic one to keep your knives in a perfect condition and ready at any time. The tungsten sharpening plates remove any small burrs and nicks on the blade, creating a smooth overall surface for further sharpening. The diamond sharpener creates a finer edge, preparing the surface for the final stage of sharpening, the ceramic sharpening plate, which creates a razor sharp edge by polishing the blade into a very fine point.
