They measure about 5 inches long and 3 inches high. If you look at the pictures, you see one on it side. I did that to show you the rubber strip on the front tires. This is what grips the hard floor. But this will also work on low pile carpet or berber. Each vehicle has moving parts, on the cement truck it is the drum that turns, the street sweeper the front brushes and the harvester the red drum. Each vehicle also has a second task like pushing buttons and turning pictures. I started with 6 vehicles but now have 4. The grandchildren loved the Push and Go vehicles, they wanted to take all of them home, but I talked them into taking only one. The box said for ages 18+ months, my two are 2 and 3 years old. The test track was the kitchen. The cars went from one end, under the table and out the other side. They are made of plastic; however, they seem sturdy and unlikely to be able to be broken or taken apart and therefore not a danger for the age they are recommended for (18 months plus). They are brightly colored. Each truck is probably 3 x 4 inches or so. To make them move forward, all the child has to do is push them; but they aren't like free-spinning wheeled cars. The friction aspect makes it go further and keeps it on the floor. There is really not much more to be said about these toys; they would make a great gift for either a boy or a girl of 18 months plus who really like trucks or cars and pushing them around. I do have a photo and a video, which I hope will show what I am talking about above. For 3 different trucks, the price is excellent.
