At first I was a little hesitant to try it because one of the ingredients was charcoal but I love sugar and decided to give it a try. At first I didn't like the texture in my fingers but as soon as it was applied to my face it felt refreshing. After leaving it on for 5-7 minutes you feel the oils penetrating your skin. After washing it off my face feels amazing. I was expecting this to be a glorified facial scrub. I'm happy to say I was very wrong. This scrubs gently warms up so not only are you getting the beauty-enhancing properties of a facial, you're getting a lovely sensation as well. It reminded me of that feeling when you first come in from the cold and feel the warmth from the fireplace. That's as close as I can come to describing it. It's a very pleasant heat, not hot, just warm. The texture was great too. I've used a variety of scrubs and this one didn't feel harsh by any means. It's gentle enough that I didn't have to worry about scrubbing too hard. This facial was exactly what I wanted. It feels like a rich product and the price is a bargain! I'm giving this 5/5- and will be adding to my routine. It's not every day that you find a product that feels like it was made just for you.
