I've been using most of these lip balms at night...until now. The Nivea lip care line is divine--OK--that was easy! I bought Kiss of Moisture when I ran back into the store for a drink and some cash--had a 'test run' en route to an appointment. I had several errands so I wore Kiss of Moisture thru the many miles and multiple sips of soda. I was halfway home when I realized I had NOT re-applied Kiss of Moisture--I could feel it on my lips--'it' was STILL there after drinking and chewing some gum. The description says 'long wearing' but I fully expected to re-apply and re-apply---I had it in my pocket. The 'life span' of a lip balm (if you will) -soothing and short-very short.Glossy/temporary. Kiss of Moisture stays on,stays smooth,it doesn't have an unpleasant taste or sticky too thick for daytime feel. To quote my husband Kiss of Moisture is "GOOD stuff!" NO-GREAT stuff!! I have a bad habit of licking my lips, leading to dry, chapped lips. I have tried nearly every lip balm, gloss, and stick out there and came to the conclusion that I just didn't like anything. Then I tried this and it was a true God-send! It keeps my lips silky-smooth year round and doesn't feel gloppy like all the others I've tried. Also, it lasts a long time between applications. The only negative is that it's rather soft so if you keep it in your pocket, it gets kinda melty. I always keep mine in my purse and it's fine. It goes on smooth and lasts longer than any other lip balm I have used in the past. Downside is that not reading the ingredients (my fault) and not clearly written on the label is that it contains bee's wax. So trip to doctor with extreme allergic reaction one shot and now on three different meds to help with the allergic reaction. I am 49 years young and have tried all of them. It is a little more expensive than probably what you are used to paying, but let me tell you it is WELL worth the few extra dollars!!! Make sure you get the one with the blue top, The Kiss of Moisture!!! I promise you will not be sorry!!! I am going to try the berry flavored one just to see the comparison.
