For a simple, convenient means to transport multiple mountain bikes via a pickup truck, choose the Nashbar Gatekeeper Tailgate Truck Pad. The ruggedly made polyester pad features ¾" foam padding and is available in two sizes to fit pickups of varying sizes. With the pad in place over the tailgate, transporting mountain bikes is then a matter of hanging the front fork/wheel over the tailgate and then securing the bike via a Velcro strap around the downtube. For use with multiple bikes, simply orient the front wheel in the same direction as the first bike.
