Product Description
With this UGA - 3000 graphics adapter you can easily add an external monitor to a Windows tablet or USB laptop computer with a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port.
DVI, VGA and HDMI monitor can be connected, and it supports up to resolution of 2048x1152.
One adapter is required for each monitor.
(For most PCs, up to about 6 monitors can be connected.)
The monitor connected by this adapter can be configured as a duplicate or extended desktop from the Windows control panel.
It makes it possible to display multiple applications on different monitors, which improves work productivity.
It is driven by USB bus power and no separate power supply is needed.
It is designed to recognize the power status by LED light.

We adopt DisplayLink DL - 3100 USB 3.0 graphics · chipset.
The USB graphics adapter generates 2D / 3D image information by the CPU / GPU of the computer, compresses it, and transfers the changed pixels via USB.
Therefore, display performance also depends greatly on CPU performance.
For comfortable operation, CPU with Dual Core 2 Ghz or better performance is recommended.
Also, on the monitor via USB graphics adapter, it is recommended not to use high-load applications such as 3D games and video playback, but to use in normal web display and applications.
Please be aware that requests to system resources will increase as the number of external monitors and monitors (the total number of corresponding screen pixels) increases, affecting performance.

The necessary device drivers are automatically introduced by Windows Update, but you can also download them from Plugable's website.
In case of using with Windows 10, it is necessary to use DisplayLink 8.0 or higher driver.
Update to the latest driver is recommended.
You can connect to a PC monitor or a PC-connectable TV.
The maximum resolution is 2048x1152 (HDMI, DVI) or 1920x1080 (VGA).
DVI port is attached, DVI to VGA conversion adapter and DVI_ to HDMI conversion adapter are included.
CPU with Intel Dual Core 2 GHz or higher performance and minimum 2 GB RAM size is required.
Apply WDDM compliant driver update to main graphics made by Intel / AMD / nVidia company and use it.
When using USB 3.0, please apply driver update to the USB host controller.
It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 systems.
It is suitable for regular e-mail, web surfing, document update and so on.
We do not recommend playing movies or using them for games from the viewpoint of performance.
Incompatible system
Mac OS X, Linux / Unix are not supported.
DVI port does not support voice.
Therefore, please note that PC audio can not be output to speakers of the connected monitor even if you use the HDMI conversion adapter.
It is not compatible with HDCP.
You can not play encrypted Blu - ray discs or contents with protection function.
It is a single link DVI connection.
Dual link DVI monitor is not supported.
It can not coexist with adapters (MCT, j5, SMSC etc.) using USB graphics technology other than DisplayLink.
