Lunapads uniquely designed washable cloth pads feature 2 parts: a leak-resistant Pad Base with wings that fasten around the gusset of your underwear, and an Insert that is secured to the top of the Pad Base with ric-rac bands. We offer Pads & Inserts in sizes ranging from 8'' to 14'' long. What about absorbency? Made of 2 layers of highly absorbent fleece, Inserts absorb the majority of your menstrual flow, leaving the Pad Base relatively clean and dry. Additional Inserts may be added to increase absorbency and prevent leaks. Our Pad Base contains a leak-resistant lining to minimize soaking through. The Long Pad + Insert set is suitable for average to heavy/overnight menstrual flow or light incontinence. Long Pads are compatible with insertable Long Basic Inserts and Long Wing Inserts to provide increased absorbency. Long Pads and Inserts are each 12'' (30.5cm) long and approximately 2.5'' (6.5cm) wide when snapped. Note: When choosing the appropriate length for you, please allow for a 5-10% rate of shrinkage after washing.
