This organic green tea leaf is grown at the Ambootia Estate in Darjeeling, India, a producer of Fair Trade Certified organic and Biodynamic® teas since the early 1990s. The premium that we pay for this tea is given back to the Ambootia community to help fund the hiring of more teachers, school improvements and scholarships as well as landslide restoration and reforestation. How does it taste? The strong characteristic astringent taste of green tea is mellowed by blackberry leaf and spicy ginger.

Brew well to be well™
For maximum benefit, medicinal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover up and steep 10-15 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract. Drink 3 or more cups daily for maximum benefit.
For an extra strength brew, use 2 teabags or brew up a whole pot using 4 or 5 teabags.
