Product Description

Cheesecloth is a lightweight cotton gauze that can be woven into various grades. The grade determines how tightly woven it is.
Cheesecloth can be used to strain soup stock, make tofu, strain homemade yogurt, or bundle herbs into a bouquet. In terms of cheese making, it can be used to drain the liquid (whey) from cheese curds. This is necessary, because if cheese curds hold too much moisture they cannot be shaped and aged into wheels of cheese.

Our Grade #60 Cheesecloth is 100% all natural cotton which is tightly woven for excellent straining and filtering yet is breathable.
With our Cheesecloth, you can rest assured that you and your family are using a well made, reusable, all natural cheesecloth . Its production starts with unbleached natural cotton fibers. No chemicals are used whatsoever.

Cut the length you desire using scissors for the job at hand.

Ideal for making any cheese-bound cheese as it protects it and allows it breathe naturally as it ages. You can use it for making:

Ricotta
Cheddar cheese
Yogurt cheese (strained yogurt)
Farmer's cheese
Paneer
Goat cheese

It also has many craft uses such as a prop in photography, making sachets?and tea bags, use with starch to make sculptures. Great for making Halloween decorations. Cut and sew into many shapes.
