This ADA compliant slide latch is constructed of stamped stainless steel and comes in a satin finish. It is a surface mounted “bobrick” style latch that is designed for use on swing-in partition doors, and it comes complete with a matching keeper and stainless steel fasteners. This latch mounts over a durable, black plastic base with its mounting holes spaced apart at 7/8 inches, and it features a 1-1/2 in. Bolt Throw. This restroom stall slide latch also features a tension ADJUSTMENT clip that is embedded within the black plastic mounting plate, concealed beneath the stainless steel surface of the lock. The tension clip can be adjusted to create or reduce resistance between the plastic insert and the metal housing. Setting the amount of force needed to slide the latch from left to right is as easy as bending the clip away from the plastic base to increase the tension, and bending it towards the plastic base to decrease tension. This lock includes a stainless steel set screw and steel allen wrench required for installation. Toilet partition slide latches like these are used by many and they are easy to install.
