The first year, the nozzle could clog and getting the right amount dispensed was sometimes tricky. won't come out, then when you really push, you get too much... They have improved the dispensing it seems and the last few cans work much better. Much more reliable and predictable amounts come out. This stuff is GREAT. Having used many competitors' products I always thought that my top of the line blades dulled after about a week. Now I know that it is that the lubrication strip is done, and other shaving creams aren't slippery enough to make the blade glide like the Gillette lubricating strips. this one IS! Therefore my blades last twice as long, which is a great savings, and feels far better on my face to have a slippery shave. Will never buy any Gillette shaving cream again. They aren't slippery enough and I bet that is for a good reason... It makes you use more of their blades. Try this shaving cream. Most of the time they are either too sticky, not foaming enough, or have a overly strong scent that overwhelms your sense of smell for the next several hours. The scent, which is identical to that of the Clean Comfort deodorant or body wash, disappears not long after shaving and isn't overwhelming. The gel foams up enough to ensure good coverage with only using about half as much as other gels, but also isn't overly sticky, so it comes off well with a stroke of the razor. It does, although it comes with a price. Based on my experience, the gel does not seem to foam up as I had wished. Resulting in a very uncomfortable shave. It is not my razor, as I have had a more pleasant experience with other gels that foamed properly. On the other hand, the shave itself is relatively close and I haven't cut myself (yet). So, this product does what it says in the description and I do generally like all of Dove's Men+Care products. However, the can is absolutely horrible. There are little ridges on the dispenser button that if you press on those either nothing comes out or it's very little. If you move your finger closer to the center of the dispenser (towards the nozzle) you are likely to get enough gel for 5 shaves.
