Frye rubber outsoles are created from recycled European tires, and are constructed with the same attention to detail and quality craftsmanship as their traditional boot making. Craftsmen put the recycled tires through a rigorous process of collection and cleaning. Each pair displays the original markings of the rubber, including oxidization where the metal rims used to be, making each outsole one of a kind.
