Ketoconazole

Indications

Treatment of infections caused by pityriasis versicolor, seborrheic dermatitis & pityriasis capitis, dandruff.

Dosage

Wash the hair on the affected areas of the skin. Leave in contact for 3-5 min before rinsing thoroughly. Seborrheic dermatitis & dandruff Use twice wkly for 2-4 wk. Pityriasis versicolor Use once daily for max 5 days.

Special Precautions

After prolonged treatment w/ topical corticosteroids.
