【What is Harris Tweed】
It is a rare tweed in which craftsmen have carefully hand-woven wool in outer islands in the northern part of Scotland within the archipelago.
The islanders of the outer Hebrides islands originate from Tweed used to protect themselves from severe natural conditions.
Its name comes from "Harris Island" which shows the southern part of Lewis Island, the largest of the Outer Hebrides.
It features a beautiful tweed pattern that craftsmen carefully weave at first sight, making it a material that feels the tradition and breath of the island.
