I bought it for my mother who is bedridden. She said it was very soft and comfortable because it has a head support in the middle of the basin. The size is perfect, not too big, not too small. The only critique that I have is that it was a little harder to blow up than I thought it would be. It worked so well and was very comfortable. Once blown up it is nice sized and even had a small pillow inside. The drain can be plugged if you want standing water in the basin or can drain as you go. The hose is close to 3 feet long so reaches a bucket with no problems. This item worked very well for our needs. The only complaint I would have is the drain hose is made from a really thick plastic type material and it was kinked for shipment. It is very difficult to get the kinks out of it to use for draining making the draining process somewhat cumbersome.
