Beef-flavored chewable tablets (phytonadione) for use in cats and dogs to counter hypoprothrombinemia induced by digestion of coumarin-based compounds, common ingredients of commercial rodenticides, and other drug-induced hypoprothrombinemia where it is definitely shown that the result is due to interference with Vitamin K metabolism (e.g., salicylates). Recommended for use in follow-up therapy only after administration of Vitamin K1 Injection and hospitalization is no longer required.Feature
