I had quite a bit of fun playing with it around the house and a little in the yard. On new years day we were at a friends house and we decided to take the kids over to the park. So I thought it would be fun to take the quadcopter and play in the open with it. After a bit of messing around I put it on expert mode. At first it was great. So responsive and actually easier to control. But then all of a sudden for no reason I could tell the copter just stopped listening to the commands of the controller and off it went. All by itself it flew up and away until it was up in to the clouds and I have no idea how far away. I just had to stand there and watch it fly away. This is really poor. If for some reason the item loses contact with the controller it should just shut down, not fly the heck away.
