I was paying a ridiculously high price for other shoes. I have flat feet so after standing and walking a while my feet begin to hurt. I was tired of spending so much money on shoes that didn't last more than 3-4 months. I took a risk and purchased these for a trip I was going on where I would be on my feet all day and almost all night. My feet did not mind at all. I had to run for a while and I would not recommend these for running , unless you enjoy your toes being in pain. I am SO HAPPY I found a pair of shoes that hold up well and are COMFORTABLE.
