Customer reviews from Japan:

Satisfied

I like Garmin products, I have Edge 800J, Forerunner 910XT (English version), vivosmart HRJ, but I purchased Edge 520 (English version) this time. The reason is that I also felt that I was able to synchronize on the iPhone using Bluetooth and what I wanted to use the function of the segment. There seems to be a tightening of Garmin Inc. There are many overseas sites that said that it is not possible to sell Garmin products to Japan, but since some overseas sites such as Evans dealt with it and it was quite cheap, I bought it. Although it is English, it is not very difficult English and since I used 800J, I understand something about corresponding Japanese, so there is no problem at all. Rather, it is cool and I like the simple screen without Japanese entry. One problem is that because you can not use Japanese for the notation of segments and courses, the course name will be blank unless you change the course name to English and then "send it to the device". However, segments and course functions seem to be available even if they are Japanese. One thing I was worried about was that I used the bike for road bikes and fixed bicycle separately, each with ANT + speed & cadence sensor, but I switched it one by one Is it necessary? Although it was the point, it was a fears distress. Registration of sensors can be done individually (the circumference of the tire is different, but it can also be registered for each sensor), afterwards if we attach this product to the road bike, we will pick up the sensor of the road bike and pick it up, If you attach it to a motorcycle for a table, it will be recognized and picked up, so you can use both without trouble. At 800J eventually I almost never used map functions, so I thought 1000 or 810 would be unnecessary and made it to 520, but it seems to me it was the correct answer. Rising from turning on the power supply is very fast, the acquisition of the GPS is also considerably earlier, and it is also possible to prepare a profile with GPS off for practicing the roller base and switch it with one touch and it is very comfortable. As a result, 800 J is no longer used now.
