Arsenal FC Stadium History:
Emirates stadium opened its doors in July 2006 becoming the new house of Arsenal football club. Until then, and from 1913, the emblematic stadium Highbury had been the club’s home. The Emirates Stadium is the third largest football stadium in England after Wembley and Old Trafford.
Emirates stadium has a capacity of 60,000 which cost overall GBP 390 million. There are 150 executive boxes in the new stadium, compared to 48 at Highbury.
