About HID Xenon Technology: Our bulbs have a glass chamber filled with Xenon gas. This advanced technology replaces the filament of traditional halogen bulbs. When the gas is ignited by a charge from the ballast controller, it will stay illuminated by a constant 12v source (also provided by the ballast) which will draw its power from the original headlight wiring in your car for your halogens (stock connector). The ballast can also directly connect to your battery via a universal wiring harness. HID Efficiency and Longevity: HID Xenon technology is able to provide a greater light output with significantly less power.
