Before you buy, please read to understand what you are buying
Before buying, you should understand 3 important things
1) What does the model number of Led strips mean?
LED model / code number starting with 3528, 5050 and 5630
In terms of brightness, 5630 is the most intense and wider viewing angle follow by 5050 then 3528
Waterproof Led strip will slightly decrease the brightness by 20-30%
The 5630 LED is theoretically 1.5x times brighter than a 5050 LED.
Meanwhile , a 5050 LED is theoretically 3x times brighter than a 3528 LED
2) Why Selecting The Correct Led Driver Is Extremely Important?
Failure to use the correct capacity LED Drivers / Transformers (although it may still light up the Led strip),
it may lead to overloading the LED drivers which may result in fire.
For safety reasons, don't risk.
It is better to be safe then sorry.
a) How do you know what capacity / power of LED Drivers needed for your requirements?
Led Strips power consumption per metre
3528 Series
3528 with 30 leds per metre - strip per metre need 2.4W
3528 with 60 leds per metre - strip per metre need 4.8W
3528 with 120 leds per metre - strip per metre need 9.6W
5050 Series
5050 with 30 leds per metre - strip per metre need 7.2W
5050 with 60 leds per metre - strip per metre need 14.4W
5050 with 120 leds per metre - strip per metre need 28.8W
Example
If you connect 5 metres of 5050 (with 60 leds per metre), you need 14.4W x 5 metres = 72W
and the driver must be able to support minimum 72W or beyond
b) How do you know calculate the capacity of a Led Drivers?
Using the specification label on the drivers or transformers, you can calculate on your own if watt is not provided on the label
Using Voltage (V) x Current (A)
eg. 12V x 6A = 72W
12V x 10A = 120W
5050 with 30 leds per metre - strip per metre need 7.2W
5050 with 60 leds per metre - strip per metre need 14.4W
5050 with 120 leds per metre - strip per metre need 28.8W
In addition to your single colour LED Strip Lights, you will also need a 12v power supply (sold seperately).
Power supplies are available in the following
A) Adapter Type - Plug and Play using male and female jack connectors mainly for less than 5 metres in one single strip
B) Chrome Metal Chasis - Mainly for single strip or multiple strips and combine length cannot exceed drivers / transformers capacity
It is not recommended to power more than 5 meters of LED Strip Light in series from a single driver.
For longer lengths, strips will need to be connected in parallel from the same driver.
3) What are the length of each strip you want it to be cut

We currently offer free cutting and soldering on all LED Strip Lights. If you require cuts, let us know. Send us your meaurements using the 'specific requirements' box above or by contacting us directly.
Please note: Unless otherwise stated, all LED Strip Lights will be supplied in one continuous length. For example, an order for 3 metres will be supplied as one length and not as 3 separate 1 metre lengths. Also, if you have ordered more than 5m and have not specified any cuts, we will send your order in 5m rolls and parts there of. For example, an order for 20 metres will be supplied as four 5m rolls.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on made-to-measure items unless it is a faulty.

Each metre of strip light features 60 large (5050), super-bright LEDs and consumes just 14.4 watts of electricity. An optional IP65 splashproof coating makes out Single Colour LED Strips suitable for use in wet and humid conditions, such as the kitchen and bathroom. Our single colour LED Strip Lights are available in five colours: warm white, cool white, red, green and blue.
