EASY TO CARRY YOGA MAT SLING: This yoga mat sling (yoga mat not included) is a simple yet effective way to carry your yoga mat to and from class. At 6 feet long, simply slip the ends of the strap around your yoga mat, and carry your mat with ease and simplicity. Its length is perfect for both thin and thick yoga mats, (yoga mat pictured measures 5mm thick). Comfortably hangs off your shoulders with not too much slack but not too tight either.
ALLOW YOUR MAT TO BREATHE: This yoga mat sling allows your mat to dry and breathe after a long, sweat-inducing class. Let the fresh air dry out your mat so you can keep it clean, ready for your next class.
AGE-OLD WEAVING TECHNIQUE USING TYPICAL MAYAN TEXTILES: The colorful fabric that we use is made using an ancient hand-woven technique with a back strap loom, a complicated process that requires time and patience, producing beautiful and inspiring artwork. This weaving technique, according to Mayan mythology, originates with the Maya Goddess of fertility and procreation, Ixchel. Practiced by many artisans throughout Guatemala over generations, it's more of an art form rather than just a craft.
STRONG, RELIABLE MATERIALS: The Yoga Mat Sling is handcrafted using strong, reliable cotton straps hand sewn with the native woven textiles of Guatemala. Each Sling is hand cut and hand sewn to ensure a long-lasting, reliable product.
MAKES A GREAT GIFT: Everyone you know who practices yoga, from amateur to professional, will love this handcrafted Yoga Mat Sling. With such a wealth of history within the woven textiles, it will make an unforgettable, unique gift for anyone and everyone.
