This is the greatest idea: multi USB charger for four devices, extra long cord so your short USB charging cords can reach wherever you're sitting, PLUS an extra outlet for whatever appliance you might have had to go without to plug in a regular USB charger! I travel frequently and in most hotels you never have enough outlets so this was perfect. It comes w a travel bag to carry it in. However I found that the blue indicator light is WAY too bright and lights up the room too much for me to handle. I placed electrical tape over the blue light, but it unfortunately shines through all four USB ports so brightly that it still lit up the room too much. If you're not bothered by such lights then this is an awesome item. It has a clip to hold the end of the cord in place so you don't have to worry about securing it with a twist tie or rubber band. However the cord is just a little too long for it to wrap around the device tightly and snap in place when storing so there's a little slack in the cord. I tried wrapping it several different directions and ways to reduce that which if putting in the travel pouch it doesn't really matter. But personally I like mine to be snug. Does not have a polarized plug so you can put in any outlet in any direction if you wanted to leave it wound up. I'm on travel right now and although I love the concept and how quickly it charges my devices, I won't have four plugged in constantly so the light always shines too much. The electrical plug input is awesome and fits several different prong types. You do have to push harder than you'd think to get the plug to go in, not that it's difficult, just that you worry the first time you try it that you might break it-you won't-just push and it works fine. I'm including some pics of the light and hope they show up. I really love this other than the light which meant I only carried as a backup for the other multi USB charger I have that doesn't have the electrical outlet unfortunately, but the blue indicator light on that one is flat and the electrical tape blackens it out as it doesn't shine through any of the ports. The photos taken in the dark were difficult as they don't quite depict the brightness. The ones in the light were taken under a super bright, BRIGHT overhead light w another light on behind me and you can still totally see the blue light shining. The last photo was taken in complete darkness twenty feet away from the device. If you'd always have four USB cords plugged in and the lights won't bother you, or if you placed electrical tape over the blue bulb while four cords were plugged in to block the light that shines through the ports, it's probably just fine. I just have an issue with lights on while I sleep. I love the color of the blue light, just want it OFF when I sleep rather than shining brightly beside my bed where my phone and tablet are plugged in as I use my phone as my alarm clock. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for the light. I hope this helps!

I've only used it once but so far so good. It was barely warm to the touch. It's charging the phone well and it is not getting hot. Product works well.
