| The name ＾Clam Pile￣ originates from the triangular design around the edge of the socks. Mixed angora fibers makes for a product that is worm cozy and soft to the touch. Each sock is made individually by hand with the utmost care and attention to detail. When laid on its side each sock is approximately 2cm thick. Thickness of each sock is created by using much longer loops in the construction of the lining in comparison to those of normal socks. Our original loop construction is what makes each sock soft and comfortable and is the secret to their warmth. Embroidered design around the edge of the socks is carefully stitched by hand on a special sewing machine.
