I recently discovered Ken Paves at Walmart and loved it pretty instantly. But I can no longer find it in stores and the price has nearly doubled online. My hair has been feeling like straw lately (even after installing a water filter in the shower) and I was about to give up when I discovered this new conditioner by Garnier. I used it last night for the first time and what a difference! My hair was instantly transformed: shiny, hydrated, and the color looked vibrant. I can't wait to use it again and also get the accompanying shampoo. I love the smell of coconut and this product actually smells like real coconut (a lot of products boasting a coconut scent do not smell good to me). But after using it several times, it definitely does the trick on the dry, brittle ends of my hair. No more hair that looks like hay after it dries for me. It really seemed to soak into my hair, keeping it looking moist, but not weighed down, for days. The added bonus was the smell of the hydrating mask. The coconut water and vanilla milk bath scent smells luxurious and exotic. One would think that it would just smell out of the bottle but then wash away in the rinse, but it actually does leave your hair smelling great all day. I was surprised how long my hair still smelled of coconut and vanilla. It was great! Although the container design looks fancier, I think I would have preferred a pump style or squeeze bottle container. It was hard at first to tell if you were getting too much or too little when scooping it out of the container with your hands. It took some experimentation to get the right amount for my hair type.
