About our Artist: I grew up in a family where cultural values and respect for all religions were inculcated in our mind and heart. Therefore, as a child in school, I was mainly interested in the cultural and artistic activities. I come from a family with a long lineage in the textile arts, so it was only natural that I would fall in love with the gifts of the weft and warp. My desire to learn more about the beauty of garment industry took me to join the Pearl Academy of Fashion, an affiliate Nottingham Trent University. All of my designs come from my heart. I create each piece with a lot of passion and enthusiasm. When I'm designing, I make a special effort to find out what would make my customers feel confident, happy and proud of the garment that have I created for them. I make sure to find out these critical details before working on the actual product, that way I can offer them the best apparel item possible. Whenever I get inspired by something, I roughly scribble out a few sketches and relate them to different scenarios before I make a rough swatch. After making the necessary amendments, I embellish them with hand-embroidered motifs because I feel it gives it warmth and a sense of uniqueness.
